An interdisciplinary journal covering the following major themes in Islamic studies: Contemporary Islamic jurisprudence; Islamic history and civilization; Comparative religions; Islamic philosophy and thought; Islamic economics and finance; Public policy in Islam; Islamic societies; Islamic art; Islamic architecture and urban planning, Islamic ethics and bioethics.
We aim to be a forum for publishing thought and dialogue that leads research and debate in all areas relating to Islam and Muslims, with a particular contemporary focus. We are always keen to balance authentic/traditional and critical/new views in Islamic studies in order to preserve the principles of Islamic faith, practice and civilization. Thus, our editorial board member’s and peer reviewer’s are from different disciplines and backgrounds to ensure a balanced approach in assessing submitted research.
