Journal of Information Studies & Technology (JIS&T)

Aim and Scope
The Journal of Information Studies & Technology (JIS&T) is a refereed, open-access journal. It is designed as an interdisciplinary journal to serve academic and professional researchers, graduate students and others concerned with activities in librarianship, information studies, knowledge management, data science, information systems, social media communication, users searching behavior and other related fields.  

It is established to publish original, professional and resourceful research papers in English and Arabic. JIS&T is the official journal of the Special Library Association/ Arabian Gulf Chapter (SLA/AG) and published by Hamad Bin Khalifa University press. Article Processing Charges (APC) are funded by SLA/AG in case of acceptance.

Publishing Method: Fully Open Access

Article Publishing Charges: Free for authors. The APC is funded fully by the Special Library Association/Arabian Gulf Chapter (SLA/AG) and there are no submission charges.
