ملخص

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أهمية تقنية الذكاء الاصطناعي بصفة عامة والروبوتات الذكية على وجه التحديد في خدمة المكتبات، من خلال عرض أهم التجارب العالمية في استغلال هذه التكنولوجيا داخل المكتبة. ومن أجل التركيز على الواقع المغاربي، تم إجراء دراسة مسحية على عينة من المكتبات الجامعية المغاربية لمعرفة مدى استخدامها لتكنولوجيا الذكاء الاصطناعي وآفاق ذلك مستقبلًا. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن بعض المكتبات الأوروبية والأمريكية والآسيوية قد خطت خطوة متميزة نحو استغلال الذكاء الاصطناعي في بعض أنشطة المكتبات، في حين أن المكتبات المغاربية لا تولي أهمية لتلك التكنولوجيا كأداة استراتيجية لتطوير سبل إدارة المعرفة، والوضع لا يبعث على التفاؤل في المستقبل القريب.

The purpose of this paper is to: 1) highlight the importance of artificial intelligence technology, particularly smart robots in library services by presenting a number of global library's experiences with this technology, 2) examine the related current practices of some libraries in the Maghreb countries. In order to explore the Maghreb libraries current status, a survey was conducted on a sample of 25 academic libraries to measure their use of artificial intelligence (AI) and their perspectives on implementing this technology in the future. The study revealed that while some European, American and Asian libraries have made a distinct step towards adopting AI in some of their activities, the Maghreb libraries do not perceive yet the importance of AI as a strategic developing tool for knowledge management enhancement. The study also revealed that, unfortunately there are no promising future prospects.
